“I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.”
― Henry David Thoreau, Walden: Or, Life in the Woods

I could never get into Walden, even though I own it. It’s certainly a beautiful book, but it’s a little…like reading poetry by a stoner. It just feels like it lacks reality. It’s all too flowery for me. But the language is so beautiful!
