“I think myself I ought to be shot for writing such nonsense…. But it’s unquestionably good escapist literature and I think I should rather like it if I were sitting in an air-raid shelter or recovering from flu.”
― Georgette Heyer
For writing such nonsense | QOTD

Oh, dude, you have no idea. I’m currently writing my second novel. It opens on a man that goes to a party, wins the ultra secret party raffle that happens to be a piece of pizza topped with magic mushrooms, and the guy trips and meets God. God turns out to be one big blob who has only one ear, so God gives the guy a religious quest to find said ear, pardon the noisy pun!
Now, I’m five chapters in and have not outlined, so where it’s going to go from here… uhhh… We shall see!
But really, talk about wow! lol…. Not sure yet if this trash or treasure lol.

Wow, that’s quite a storyline! Sounds like a *trip* for sure.

It’s taken a few tangential turns. It just gets weirder by the minute!

I love a good bit of escapist literature. She made her mark on that genre!

Sometimes I read something I’ve written and I think, “I wrote that? I am not a writer. I give up. Done. Delete everything.”
Sometimes I read something I’ve written and think, “Wow! I wrote that? Why can’t everything be that good? Just write like that all the time.”
